This is my front cover for the magazine "Core", as you can see it follows a standard pattern which reflects its way through the publication. The use of colours is that they cordinate well, by giving a cool yet warm feel. This has a good effect as it puts its self forward as "fresh" yet welcoming.
The way its peiced together is in such a way that Sam as "Josh Wiseman" was the main focus, this breaks convention as usually the band featured in the double page spread would have the front cover. This way the magazine isnt centrally focused on one point. Alexisonfire is still mentioned in bold on the front cover, but the picture adds a little mystique to the matter, as its not of someone in the featured band.
The house style and fonts follow a certain pattern through out the magazine.
